Colorful flappers and pleats and sexy bowler hats - Oh My! Jill Stuart takes us back to the dawn of the jazz age and gives it a modern twist. The designer for Tyra has hit it on the mark. As she ruffles and swirls us into a frenzy to the tune of rock. I found my seat and stayed put as Tyra herself showed up as did Hillary Swank, Paris & Nicky Hilton and a plethora of D-List celebs. The photographers went crazy early on. Nearly blinding one of these starlets.
The collection was quite amazing, although I almost went blind as the catwalk lit up from the far end. Generating some sort-of-cool pics, yet I would have liked to bring you her more definitive looks. Jill Stuart has style and has captured the ethos of what will no doubt be a new era in fashion. As everyone tries to redefine who they are, what they are, what product service they will put forth. Jill Stuart has confidence and it shows in the best possible way. The late lady Astor herself would have been proud.
