As designers try to define our new era, Donna Karan is certainly on top, even making the elusive Anna Wintour smile as she reveled her classic smirk. To the amazing soulful piano playing of Eric Lewis Aka Elew, the fall runway show began.
Karan gave us a rethink of her eighties dress with some ripples and Lycra in well done wool and cashmere. After seeing this show. I feel like the eighties are going to win over the jazz age and the thirties, as the predominant trend in fall fashion. She even uses Alpaca for one of the jackets.
Seeing the show was inspiring, I was placed with the foreign press as I snapped away and tried to enjoy the strong collection. Below the fashionable style crowd awaits, after the fold you'll find a blurry picture of one of the looks.
