Is the stupidest idea I've heard of. This can not be good. The campaign will go on. No matter what. By McCain calling for a return to Washington, he is politicizing the econ crisis. He's trying to show leadership where there has been none before.
He voted with Bush 90% of the time, held no stance on helping the sub-prime borrower and does not understand the economy,
He's just trying to put this out there and see what bites. This is politics at it's dirtiest. That's it, McCain has picked a polarizing VP to sure up the his base. At the cost of our rights and liberties.
I hope the American people see through this smoke screen. Also CNN is reporting that Obama reached out to McCain and now McCain is turning on him. Classic dirty politics.
At about this point in the campaign my head starts spinning and I can't tell which ways up and down. At this point, I wonder if the voters will. I hope the media can be partial and balanced and won't run with this PR Candy.
All McCain has are political stunts and he's playing them all. After all, there is no way to stop the campaign at this point. Just no way.
