FirstLook: The Tents of Fashion Week are being built.
I had a wonderful chance to see them building the Fashion Week tents at Bryant Park, I uploaded some of the pics to my blog as it happened. Here’s a round up below. You can see the rest in the photo album below. There's a cool iron slab outside professing love for Meg, it's somehow endearing.

All the nooks and crannies and workmen.
It takes about 1,600 men over two weeks to build this massive production; that will be seen all over the world. The workmen were focused, but seem unhurried. I’ve been told that the same company has built the tents for quite some time. There’s an air of calm I wasn’t expecting, everyone seems to know what’s going on as security guards stand alert at every entrance.
